Coin operated pool table:
Coin operated pool tables have the following characteristics.

These types of pool tables are the ones you generally see at pool table stores for sale to residential buyers. They come in many different sizes like 6ft., 7ft., 8ft., 9ft., 10ft., and even 12ft. During the 1960s and 70s many companies tried to make these type of tables and some came with 1 piece slates but looked like a three piece slate table with the leather pockets and the plastic pockets that sit inside the rail system.
Cost range: Pricing to move: Depending on the pool table company and if you have stairs or not you will generally spend $250.00 up to $400.00 to move the tables and recovering the pool table depending on type of felt will run $200.00 to $400.00. Commercial, tournament or pool hall style pool table:
This pool table is generally found in a 9 ft. size and can be located in pool halls. We consider this a commercial table because the pool table is usually rented by the hour in a pool room/hall. The most dedicated pool players seek this type of table. The slates are generally 1" thick or greater on this pool table and this is the most solid and accurate pool table available. They are typically the Brunswick gold crown or Gandy. This is the hardest pool table to find on the used market and is the most expensive to do anything with. These tables are heavy, solid and are not recommended for general use in a persons home who wants a pool table.
Cost range: Pricing to move: Depending on the pool table company and if you have stairs or not you will generally spend $300.00 up to $700.00 to move the tables and recovering the pool table depending on type of felt will run $300.00 to $500.00.
