We have seen better protection in crating from this company in the past.
Assembly:
Average
This installation was better than most from this company in the past.
Manufacturing Quality:
Average

We feel as though the quality of this table, compared with most new pool tables is substandard due to our personal experience with the table. Substandard craftsmanship seems to be the standard from this company. This one seemed to be better than most we have installed from Z billiards but the materials did not appear to have improved at all.
Materials Used:
Below average
All of the tables distributed by this company have a liner attached to the frame made up of several pieces and are not solid wood. They are generally stapled together and are rarely flush for the slate foundation. This wood like material fell apart when handled which made installation very difficult. We were not impressed with this product.
Accessories:
poor

The Z Billiards website states this package is worth $500.00.
We have not seen an accessory package for a pool table of lower quality. All made in China, the sticks, balls, table covers and anything else was substandard based on our experience with pool table supplies. This is a pretty common accessory package with internet shipped tables. We value this package at about $65.00 but not even worth the money spent.
Finalizing the installation
Below average
Hardware is a concern with these tables. The slate screws are actually just wood screws made of poor quality and some of the screw heads broke off making our job extremely difficult and the rail bolt washers did not allow the bolts to fit into the T-nuts of the rail through the slates. These items are standard for this brand of tables.
Overall Rating
Below average
Every installation of these tables presents the same difficulties and problems. We are pleased to see that the quality has at least stayed the same and has not deteriorated. We gave this installation a below average rating. The main reasons are listed below.
Low quality accessory package (Terrible Package, we wouldn't take it for free)
Price (Could have been purchased with slightly better quality from a dealer for $1,000.00 less)
Rail rubber / Cushions (Rail rubber was of lower quality but was acceptable for standard home use)
Low resale value to a buyer who has done just a little research on their purchase.
Installation not included (Z billiards charges $350.00 for installation, we charged the buyer less)
$2,999.00 is the selling price of this table on the Z billiards website. We would have no problem finding another import of better quality locally in the Pacific Northwest for around $2,000.00 delivered and installed with a better accessory package from a dealer you could visit in person if there were problems with the table.
