Problems our customers have had buying pool tables

The following is an actual documented event that took place between a customer and our pool table service division. All statements are true and all pictures published are actual pictures of the described pool table mentioned on this web page. This documentation is for consumer informational purposes only and should not be used in determining to purchase a pool table.

We were contacted by a customer who purchased a Z Billiards pool table via winning an eBay auction.

Upon arrival to install the table we noted that there was no hardware included in the package. This added approximately 2.5 hrs. to the installation of the table. We completed the table and left the location.

Approximately two months later we were called by the customer again who had been trying to have a local company return due to the rails on the table cracking. They had contacted Z Billiards and they sent two new rails to replace the bad ones. The customer could not find a company who was willing to work on the table locally so we planned that repair into a service trip to the area.

We noticed the rails were somewhat broken on the corners and began replacing the felt on the new rails. The rubber strips to keep felt in did not fit the new rails and caused the felt to be higher than the rail.

We also noted that there were several places where the finish on the table was either running from manufacture or coming off in chips.
